Would you mind quoting a bit more properly. I had sifficulties to spot
when my writing stops and where yours starts (and even had to think a
bit what i have written past 24h).

Anyway. I just burned (just to make sure there is no fscking on my
side) the DVD-image on net side and i still boots on my U10.

I do remember having troubles booting CD/DVD-image with SILO while
having nvramrc defined on U10 as the cdrom was on diff. location as the
defaul (secondary master). I am not sure tho if that was in phase where
i had not still dug up the info about how to properly generate bootable
SILO-images. That is just a propable tought.

I have to admit that i am on thin ice myself with this too. There are
so much things that i a) don't know b) have not even heard of still.

I really do hope that the so called 'community' will kick in on this
and we get all sorted out together.
