But the mounts are identical-

\\\\10.0.0.253\\niamh on /NSA320-music type cifs (rw)
\\\\10.0.0.253\\niamh on /NSA320-music type cifs (rw)
\\\\10.0.0.253\\niamh on /NSA320-music type cifs (rw)
\\\\10.0.0.253\\niamh on /NSA320-music type cifs (rw)

I've tried-

umount \\\\10.0.0.253\\niamh
umount: \\10.0.0.253\niamh: not mounted

Do I need to do more backslash escaping?
