The server they want downgraded is running 4.1.0-5; the others are running 3.0.1-1. stock 6.5 system with no R, and just EPEL (and PostgreSQL) repository added... this shows R-core as 3.1.0 in EPEL only, no R in the base distribution. so.... what repositories are /you/ using ?
