I'm trying to install CentOS 4.2 on an old IBM x300 server, but it hangs during the boot from cd. The last entries I can see before it dies are the two "agpgart" lines. I've been playing around with bios settings (video settings and serial settings since the serial driver is the next thing going on in the kernel) and boot params (noapic, acpi=off etc) but I just can't get this thing up and running. It's been working like a charm (and still does) with CentOS 3. Any tips? Regards, Harald -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
