The results from that program are nice because it is problematic to obtain the correct driver version from the Nvidia support page (due to multiple Quadro FX entries, only one of which is the correct one - so one can easily conclude the wrong driver from the Nvidia support pages). I have, AFAIK, the Nvidia "Quadro FX 880M" graphics card: $ /sbin/lspci -nn | grep VGA ==> 01:00.0 VGA compatible controller [0300]: NVIDIA Corporation GT216 [Quadro FX 880M] [10de:0a3c] (rev a2) $ sudo yum --enablerepo elrepo install nvidia-detect ==> Installed: nvidia-detect.x86_64 0:310.40-1.el6.elrepo $ nvidia-detect Probing for supported NVIDIA devices... [10de:0a3c] NVIDIA Corporation GT216 [Quadro FX 880M] This device requires the current 310.40 NVIDIA driver (kmod-nvidia). _______________________________________________ CentOS mailing list CentOS@xxxxxxxxxx http://lists.centos.org/mailman/listinfo/centos
