What does that mean?  Both services use TCP.  Telnet is normally port
23, SMTP is 25.    I suggested 'telnet IP_address 25' as a quick way
to see if tcp/25 is permiited.

I can't connect now, though, so either postfix is not listening or
there is a firewall somewhere.
