I am searching all sorts of combinations to figure out what 'ANG' does.  
I keep getting results like "Emmanuel C. Yumang M.D"  :)

So please enlighten me.

Checking the exit value seems to be important.  I did find 
http://wiki.centos.org/YumCheckOrInstallUpdates which I am studying. And 
it does not use ANG...
