Update, I just read the issue is also C++11 and gcc 4.6. Apparently, Chromium devs prefer to use the newer c++ standard and that breaks the toolchain on older distros. I think C6 uses gcc 4.4.6. Also rumor is Google and Red Hat are now talking about this issue.
