Hello George. I had the same problem on an old proliant. Settled for a min install CD iso and then updated. All the best Paul ------------------ -----Original Message----- From: George R Goffe <grgoffe@xxxxxxxxx> Sender: centos-bounces@xxxxxxxxxx Date: Sat, 9 Feb 2013 03:07:38 To: centos@xxxxxxxxxx<centos@xxxxxxxxxx> Reply-To: CentOS mailing list <centos@xxxxxxxxxx> Subject: Is CentOS-6.3-x86_64-netinstall.iso broken? Hi, I'm probably doing something wrong or misunderstanding how this is supposed to work. I have written this ".iso" image to a DVD and booted from it. I then selected the first install option from the menu. I get some prompts and then I'm asked to specify where the media is. I assumed (there's that word) that I should just hit enter, thereby selecting the "from DVD" option. I got a message about not being able to find the install materials? Is this what the install process is looking for? Shouldn't it be looking in the network? Can anyone see what I'm doing wrong? Thanks, George... _______________________________________________ CentOS mailing list CentOS@xxxxxxxxxx http://lists.centos.org/mailman/listinfo/centos _______________________________________________ CentOS mailing list CentOS@xxxxxxxxxx http://lists.centos.org/mailman/listinfo/centos
