Do you > need all conifguraiton? Inside your dhcpd.conf file you need a subnet declaration and the IP Address of ETH0:0 has to be in that subnet. See: https://access.redhat.com/knowledge/docs/en-US/Red_Hat_Enterprise_Linux/6/html/Deployment_Guide/sect-Configuring_a_Multihomed_DHCP_Server.html So, for example, if I have: subnet 192.168.0.16 mask 255.255.255.240 { option <whatever> option <whatever2> } Then eth0:0 would have to be inside the IP Range of the subnet ... in this case, 192.168.0.16/255.255.255.240 is the IP addresses from 192.168.0.16 through 192.168.0.31 (with 16 and 31 being not usable as they are the network name and the broadcast address).
