Thanks for the idea.  That rpm seems to get me closer but I get:

Setting up Install Process
Examining /root/Downloads/gammu-1.32.0-1.2.x86_64.rpm:
gammu-1.32.0-1.2.x86_64
Marking /root/Downloads/gammu-1.32.0-1.2.x86_64.rpm to be installed
Resolving Dependencies

gammu-1.32.0-1.2.x86_64

Error: Package: gammu-1.32.0-1.2.x86_64 (/gammu-1.32.0-1.2.x86_64)
           Requires: libGammu.so.7()(64bit)
 You could try using --skip-broken to work around the problem
 You could try running: rpm -Va --nofiles --nodigest
