The library in issue: /usr/local/lib/libpng12.so.0 Did not come from CentOS ... BUT ... it is meeting CentOS requirements now that it is installed. What does this say: rpm -q --whatprovides /usr/local/lib/libpng12.so.0 The first question you need to answer is why you have something providing a major requirement like that in /usr/local/lib/ Then you need to decide if you want that item.
