you must instruct the MTA part too by DAEMON_OPTIONS. Either

or

DAEMON_OPTIONS(`Port=smtp,Addr=127.0.0.1, Name=MTA')dnl
DAEMON_OPTIONS(`Port=smtp,Addr=<public IP>, Name=MTA')dnl
