You need to get the tw_cli tool from the 3ware page. With this you can
check the health of the raid and its disks:

# tw_cli /c0 show

Unit UnitType Status %RCmpl %V/I/M Stripe Size(GB) Cache AVrfy
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
u0 RAID-10 OK - - 256K 1862.62 ON OFF

Port Status Unit Size Blocks Serial
---------------------------------------------------------------
p0 OK u0 931.51 GB 1953525168 WD-WMATV4882192
p1 OK u0 931.51 GB 1953525168 WD-WMATV4911813
p2 OK u0 931.51 GB 1953525168 WD-WMATV4884633
p3 OK u0 931.51 GB 1953525168 WD-WMATV4881597
p4 NOT-PRESENT - - - -
p5 NOT-PRESENT - - - -
p6 NOT-PRESENT - - - -
p7 NOT-PRESENT - - - -
