I'm trying to figure out exactly what it is that 'service mysqld
start' does so I can see what failed. I see it stats
/etc/init.d/mysqld, but I don't see where ti actually runs it. In any
case, I ran /etc/init.d/mysqld and it worked and started the server.
Very weird.
