Even faster is Dropbox.  If you keep the frequently-synched files in 
your Dropbox, you don't even have an explicit copying step.  It just 
happens, over the LAN if possible, via the Cloud otherwise.  For files 
sufficiently small, it happens during the time it takes you to switch 
machines.
