A switch is basically a bridge built in hardware, isn't it ?

Configure /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-brX
and in the kvm config for the virtual machine do

<interface type='bridge'>
	...
      	<source bridge='brX'/>
	...
</interface>
