1) http://localhost.localdomain/pipermail/centos/ is the address listed for the list archive. i dont see how this can be correct. i get a host not found error when trying to load it(what is localdomain TLD anyway?). basically, i am sorry if this is already covered, but i have no way to currently get to it. 2) This is a problem i have had with both fedora and now centos. i have an amd64(3400+) system, msi K8N neo FSR mobo, ati radeon 9600 agp card, dlink wireless G card and a 120G SATA drive. when i attempt to boot the installer from DVD, it gets to the point shortly after stating anaconda starting, and says "running /sbin/loader", with the cursor on the next line, blicking from fast to slow in a rythm. it hangs here until i reboot the system. This error also occured in fedora core 2, core 3, both i386 and x86_64. the bin file checked out with md5sum. With the fedora installs, i was able to get the install to work using the noprobe kernal flag, but then when it got to booting up, it hung durring hardware initialization(after first three device types, right after sound). i have tried removing the wireless nic, i have tried disabling the onboard sound. i do not want to disable the onboard nic, as i use it as primary interface when not traveling(yes, with my desktop machine...) sorry for the long post, thanks in advance for any help i can get. i would like to get this running, as i dont like the way ubuntu(debian) has the 64bit lib lay out(currently installed, but cant get some old software to install from deb or rpm, not source). -Scott
