[Centos] AIC-7899 SCSI Card

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi everyone,
I am trying to load CentOS4 onto an IBM with an AIC-7899 SCSI card.
CentOS3.4 loads fine onto the machine, however the installer for CentOS4
only gets to the bluescreen loading the AIC7xxx driver, and hangs.
I read up on this problem, and saw some people in the redhat
Bugzilla thing using the "expert noprobe" option, then loading the
driver manually. This did not work for me however. Anyone have any
ideas on how to get CentOS4 going? Thanks!

Drew
