i just did a full (everything) centos 4 install and afterwards ran a 'yum list available' and saw the normal packages that have hardware specific version (openssl, glibc, kernels, etc), but also noticed redhat-rpm-config wasn't installed. i thought maybe it was overriden by a centos thing and ignored it. but then later i was playing with the kernel .src.rpm and it wouldn't build without redhat-rpm-config. so i installed it and things were fine. i see that package listed in comps.xml in the development-tools group. any clues? or just a weird hiccup on my machine?
