Purchased off the shelf in a retail environment.

I could find others, but you get the idea.  I have the PX-712SA.

In order to get it to work, you have to recompile the kernel, I was 
wondering if there was a chipset that has some sort of SATA/Parallel 
bridge, or has a better supported driver than my Silicon Image 3112.
