[Centos] Asterisk on CenTos 4

Has anyone built asterisk on Centos 4?

With 2.6 kernel (Fedora Core 3), I use to be able to do:

ln -s /lib/modules/2.6.9-1.667/build/ linux-2.6 

In order to compile zaptel.

There is no "build" subdirectory in Centos 4.

Any suggesions would be appreciated.
