formatting a 3 terabyte partition (addendum)

What utility are you using?
1.1TB (1TiB) is LBA32 (signed) * 512 bytes/sector.

And what storage array?  Driver?

It is mathematically impossible for someone who makes more than you
to be anything but richer than you.  Any tax rate that penalizes them
will also penalize you similarly (to those below you, and then below
