yum repository for Mplayer and Codecs?

I'm using DAG apt reprositories [ http://dag.wieers.com/home-made/apt/ ]
it has mplayer in packages list [
http://dag.wieers.com/home-made/apt/packages.php ].

However you'll need to install the binary codecs yourself. Just extract
the DLLs in /usr/lib/win32 and they should work fine.
