No it doesn't - it makes http://myserver/webmail an alias to
/usr/share/squirrelmail. Hence http://myserver/webmail is the correct
URL to use.

Make sure that httpd is actually running (or has been restarted) and
that /usr/share/squirrelmail is readable by user apache.
