Is it possible the machine is changing to a runlevel other than 3? This almost sounds like some of the firewall boxen I've heard of that basically shutdown to deny access to everything, yet the firewall/routing remain up and working. But I can ping, traceroute & nmap it just fine. I have no idea what is causing this lockup or lock out, even after a reboot by the DC there's nothing in the logs to show what happened. :( regards tom _______________________________________________ CentOS mailing list CentOS@xxxxxxxxxx http://lists.centos.org/mailman/listinfo/centos
