[Centos] RAID card recommendation

We use 3ware 8506-4LP and the 8006-2LP cards which are SATA.  They work
wonderfully.  We had used highpoint cards, but getting them to work was
difficult and the performance was not very good.

I'm using an older 3ware 6400 series card and it works right out of
the box. I hear most of the 3ware cards are fully supported out of
box.
