[Centos] yum stalls <?>

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

It's not a problem with name resolution or anything like that. I was
watching a netstat -tc in another window and when yum froze, the connection
to the mirror would show a SYN_SENT status. After I hit Ctl-C, the yum
process doesn't terminate...it continues to download more headers/rpms.
I've got a cramp now from hitting Ctl-C so many times to get this yum update
to complete. It's almost done now as everything is downloaded and being
installed. Maybe that will fix it, but I've never had this problem before.

Mike

Have you tried manually editing them mirror(s) in the config from default ?
