Hi Scott.

Can you tell me where i can find the script?
Becuase in my file is no script to compile.

Or do you mean that?
http://www.3ware.com/KB/article.aspx?id=12690
But the question is work that with centos?

What driver i must create SMP or not and what is the difference

>To build UP module, type:
>make -f Makefile.rh
>The file created is 3w-9xxx.o

>To build SMP module, type:
>make smp -f Makefile.rh
>The file created is 3w-9xxx.smp

And what i must put in to initial the ramdisk on CentOS.

Redhat from the site above
/sbin/mkinitrd -v -f /boot/init-2.4.21-4.EL.img init-2.4.21-4.EL

Cent OS ???
/sbin/mkinitrd -v -f /boot/2.4.21-27.0.2.ELsmp vmlinuz-2.4.21-27.0.2.Elsmp

My kernelversion is
root@server8 [/boot]# uname -r
2.4.21-27.0.2.ELsmp

And on this site http://www.3ware.com/KB/article.aspx?id=12706 stay that the
drivers will not work with centos.
But i don?t understand WHY. Redhat and Centos has the same architecture or
not?

Maybe anyone can told me what i must do now :) I am very confused.

Thanks for help
Sven
