RPM conflicts - help!

Well I thought this was going to do it - it worked fine on the 32-bit CentOS.
But, in the 64 bit one, the compat-libs installs a 32 bit binary into
the /usr/lib64 directory, even though the rpm file is clearly marked 64...

[root@kepler pg81]# rpm -Uvh compat-postgresql-libs-3-3.c4.centos.x86_64.rpm

[root@kepler pg81]# file /usr/lib64/libpq.so.3.1
/usr/lib64/libpq.so.3.1: ELF 32-bit LSB shared object, Intel 80386, version 1
(SYSV), stripped

[root@kepler pg81]# rpm -qf /usr/lib64/libpq.so.3.1
compat-postgresql-libs-3-3.c4.centos

So, I guess I've tested it, and it's not built correctly? (I'm beginning to
HATE 64 bit, even though performance is awesome!)
