need kernel 2.6.10 on Centos 4.2 switch to Fedora or compile kernel from source ?

Currently I have 2.6.9-22.0.1.EL but i need 2.6.10 or higher, since:
1. I need ipt_CONNMARK
2. The servers are throwing kernel panicks on 2.6.9 and they worked
fine when they were running fedora core 3 with the kernel 2.6.10-1.760

So my question is:
Do i switch the servers back to fedora. Or do I compile the kernel
from source. Or is there a 3rd way out.

Merry christmas and happy holidays :)
