Install from a USB CDrom?

I believe you could pre-partition and copy the CDs to the HD using a
Live-CD distro like Knoppix or Ubuntu-live and do a hard-disk install.
Haven't done a HD install in long enough that the details are hazy -
there might be some restrictions on installing on the disk containing
the files.
