How are you rotating such rsync backups?  The last thing you
want is an incomplete or corrupted rsync to take down your
only copy.

OGo is a PITA to install, no debate there.

That's the great thing about UNIX servers, you can always
install and configure what you need later if you don't need
it now.

With Windows, it's re-install and re-plan.
