OpenOffice startup help

I am using OpenOffice Quickstarter
( http://segfaultskde.berlios.de/index.php?content=oooqs ) to help speed up
the loading of open office 2.0 when using KDE.

Also, I've told KDE to issue the command oofromtemplate -invisible by putting
it in a simple script in .kde/Autostart

For some reason, when oooqs has the settings below (screenshot link -
http://users.zoominternet.net/~ryanag/oofficeqs.png ) everything works
perfectly. Open Office loads from a cold start in about 3.5 seconds.

When I don't use the oooqs, the script does not work - it prevents open office
from loading.

Does anyone have any idea what oooqs is doing that makes my script work?

Since I'm using Open Office 2.0 I don't expect to find anything in the
official Red Hat docs.
