I'll take a look at the issue later in the day, when I am near a build 
machine... but take a look at the '--with kmod' option in the .spec - By 
default the kernel modules are not built.

w.r.t the kernel source - you need to get the kernel-*.src.rpm from 
mirror.centos.org/centos/4/SRPMS/ and install that, also check to make 
sure that configure script is looking at the right place for it.
