HELP unsubscribe

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

This has been covered a bunch ... but here it is again:

There is a daily digest of the CentOS announce list that gets sent to
the CentOS Discussion List. This is by design, and it clearly states on
this page:

http://www.centos.org/modules/tinycontent/index.php?id=16

and on this page:

http://lists.centos.org/mailman/listinfo/centos

that security updates are announcements are made once daily to the
General discussion list.

It can not be unsubscribed to unless you unsubscribe from the General
discussion list.

This was a compromise that allowed the announce list to split from the
General discussion list ... there is a group who wants everything in the
General discussion list (including security announcements) and another
group that wants both lists totally separate. As a compromise, we spilt
the lists ... but update the General discussion list daily with one mail
on days with security announcements.
