[Centos] Equivalence RHEL 3 update1 or update2?

And can someone please argument why (for heaven's sake) someone decided to 
following its own version scheme ?

	CentOS 3 U1 and CentOS 3 U3

would have been so much clearer for everyone. I hope for RHEL4 we can 
return to common sense. We don't need complexity.
