In case this wasn't clear -- clone a copy of the *upstream Xenproject*
repo and do this.  So first:

$ git clone git://xenbits.xenproject.org/xen.git xen.git
$ cd xen.git

Then carry on with...

> $ git checkout -b centos/pq/4.4.3 RELEASE-4.4.3
