Release Notes: This release includes updates to all regular vaccine code set files.
General Note Regarding this Release: Codes with “Last Update” dates after July 29, and before August 8, 2024, reflect the changes and additions in this release. This release includes the following code set updates:

CDC is updating its website infrastructure which will require new URLs (About the New CDC.gov | About CDC | CDC). Changes impacting the vaccine code set pages and VIS documents are planned for rollout during the week of 8/12. Current URL links will continue to redirect to the new URLs during a transition period.

Pfizer has introduced a new type of single-dose vial for their RSV product, Abrysvo. The following information has been added to the code sets.

Changes impacting the vaccine code set pages and VIS documents are planned for rollout during the week of 8/12. Current URL links will continue to redirect to the new URLs during a transition period.
URLs for all VISs will be updated. To assist with this transition, a new table has been created and will be added to the new VIS URL code set page during the rollout the week of 8/12 IIS Vaccine Info Statement to URL Table | CDC.
Below is an excerpt from the “NEW VIS URL” table. Note that the code sets will also be adding a new URL for the RTF-formatted documents. The current URLs will be replaced with the new URLs in the code sets in a later code set release.
