	Notes from the Field: Asthma-Associated Emergency Department Visits During a Wildfire Smoke Event — New York, June 2023 During June 1-14, 2023, smoke from the Eastern Canadian wildfires led to a spike in asthma-related emergency department visits across New York, including a nearly threefold increase among older children and young adults.
