Ways to Prevent Measles

Measles cases in the United States originate from unvaccinated international travelers. If you plan to travel internationally, make sure you and your loved ones are protected against measles before departure, no matter where you are going.

Disease of the Week

Hand, foot, and mouth disease, or HFMD, is a contagious illness that is caused by different viruses. It is common in infants and children younger than 5 years old. However, older children and adults can also get HFMD. Symptoms include fever, mouth sores, and a skin rash.
