Healthy Holidays

The holidays can make it hard to stick to healthy practices or start new ones. But with a little planning, you can approach the busiest time of the year with some strategies to stay on track.

Disease of the Week

Type 1 diabetes is thought to be caused by an autoimmune reaction (the body attacks itself by mistake) that stops your body from making insulin. When there isn’t enough insulin, too much sugar stays in your blood.
