Prevention and Control of Seasonal Influenza with Vaccines: Recommendations of the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices — United States, 2022–23 Influenza Season CDC report summarizes the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) recommendations for the 2022–23 influenza season in the U.S. ACIP continues to recommend routine annual influenza vaccination for all persons aged ≥6 months who do not have contraindications.

Patient-Level and County-Level Trends in Nonfatal Opioid-Involved Overdose Emergency Medical Services Encounters — 491 Counties, United States, January 2018–March 2022 The rate of nonfatal opioid-involved overdose emergency medical service (EMS) encounters increased, on average, 4.0% quarterly during January 2018–March 2022, from 98.1 to 179.1 per 10,000 EMS encounters. Rates increased across most sociodemographic and county characteristics.
