National Immunization Awareness Month 2022

National Immunization Awareness Month

Dear Partners,

August is National Immunization Awareness Month (NIAM)! This annual observance highlights the importance of protecting people of all ages against vaccine-preventable diseases through on-time vaccination.

CDC encourages partners to work with healthcare providers to make sure patients of all ages are up to date with their recommended vaccines. We hope you will join us in spreading awareness of the importance of vaccination.

Resources are available to help you encourage routinely recommended vaccines for a variety of audiences.

Help protect them with routine vaccines

In addition, resources to help guide conversations and inform individuals about the importance of COVID-19 vaccination are available.

Please join us during August, and beyond, to help encourage everyone to get caught up with routine vaccinations. On social media, use #ivax2protect and #NIAM2022 to join the conversation and share content and resources promoting routine vaccination across the lifespan. Visit the CDC website for more information and shareable resources on encouraging vaccination.

Thank you for your work to support vaccination!

Sincerely,
