Anemia Among Pregnant Women Participating in the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children — United States, 2008–2018 Anemia prevalence among pregnant women enrolled in the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) increased 13% from 2008 (10.1%) to 2018 (11.4%); prevalence increased significantly in more than one half of WIC agencies.
