	Malignant Mesothelioma Mortality in Women — United States, 1999–2020 The annual number of deaths with mesothelioma among women significantly increased, from 489 in 1999 to 614 2020. The largest number of deaths in 2020 was associated with the health care and social assistance industry and homemaker occupation.
