What Cancer Patients and Survivors Should Know About Flu

Today, World Cancer Day, is a good time to remind people about the importance of flu vaccination for people with cancer or a history of cancer. Flu can be serious for people who have cancer now, or have had certain types of cancer in the past (such as lymphoma or leukemia). Flu shots are approved for use in people with cancer and other health conditions and are safe for people with cancer.
