CDC Study Suggests Being Pregnant Doubles the Risk of Flu Illness
A new study by CDC authors and global partners, conducted in Kenya looked at the burden of flu among pregnant people and their infants as part of a broader effort to increase flu vaccination rates globally. This particular study found that pregnant people were twice as likely to get sick with flu, and that flu illness was more common among women with HIV.
