Activity for some respiratory viruses is increasing in the United States, CDC report finds

A CDC report describes how respiratory viruses, like flu, spread at historically low levels during much of the COVID-19 pandemic, likely due to COVID-19 mitigation measures. Activity for some of these viruses, like RSV, human coronaviruses, and parainfluenza, is now increasing. CDC recommends a yearly flu vaccine, in addition to everyday preventative actions to slow the spread of these viruses.
