New Study Shows Flu Outbreaks Possible When Social Distancing Measures Relaxed    A recent study co-authored by CDC details an H3N2 flu outbreak in Cambodia after COVID-19 mitigation measures were relaxed, showing that flu outbreaks may be more likely if social distancing measures are not practiced consistently. While we do not know what will happen this winter in the US, we do know that getting a flu vaccine is the best way to protect yourself and your loved ones against flu.  Learn More

Notable flu-related accomplishments are highlighted at the link below, including that flu vaccine prevented an estimated 60,000 flu deaths, more than 700,000 hospitalizations and nearly 51 million flu illnesses in the U.S. over the past decade.
