Telehealth Practice Among Health Centers During the COVID-19 Pandemic — United States, July 11–17, 2020

During July 11–17, 2020, 95% of 1,009 Health Resources and Services Administration–funded health centers that responded to a voluntary weekly survey reported providing telehealth services. Health centers in urban areas were more likely to provide visits virtually than were those in rural areas.

During this period, there were annual averages of 42 ED visits per 100 total population, 42 ED visits per 100 nonhomeless persons, and 203 ED visits per 100 homeless persons.

The third report details data from July 2020 surveys on parental attitudes about school reopening. The fourth report looks at trends in emergency department visits related to child abuse and neglect. The final report shows how the COVID-19-associated death rate among adults who are American Indian or Alaska Native are higher than that of non-Hispanic White adults.
